The Sea (Family Concert) at Christ Church, Frome

Trio Paradis play a monthly cafe concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.

April's music is inspired by the sea: from sailing boats to sea creatures, mariners to hornpipes, and the sea itself in all its changeable moods. Along with arrangements of traditional folk melodies there will be music by Debussy, Bridge, Quilter, Ireland and Gershwin.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance is free with pay-what-you-feel donation invited. Refreshments - tea, coffee & home-made cakes - available in the café half an hour before the concert. No need to book, just turn up - maybe bring a cushion for the pew!
