Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 10.45am at Holy Trinity Church: informal feel-good music events with a café open from c10am where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It's c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.
November’s music is inspired by all things cash-related, including film and TV themes, pop songs, classical pieces, songs from the shows and more: from Half a Sixpence to Saude e Dinheiro, a tango by Brazilian composer Viuva Guerreiro (Serafina Augusta Mourão do Vale)…
The concert lasts around 45mins and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. There's no need to book, although RSVPs are appreciated - just turn up early for best seats and choice of cake as these concerts are very popular.
